Ed grew up in rural east central Alberta.  After graduating from high school in 1973, he moved to Calgary where he enrolled in the Commerce program at the University of Calgary.  Ed graduated in 1977 with his B. Comm. designation and began a career that included varying degrees of managing trade credit granting and collecting accounts receivable, primarily in the refined gasoline and diesel marketing industry.  He is a past member of the Credit Institute of Canada (CIC), having attained his Certified Credit Professional designation in 1981.  Ed has been an active member of the Calgary CIC Chapter having served on the Seminars Committee. Ed has more than 20 years of experience in debt collections.   Ed’s rural upbringing has left him with a love of the outdoors.  Among his and his wife Sharon’s favorite activities are hiking and biking the pathways and trails in Calgary and surrounding area.
